Whisky, Scotland and the Highlands are all synonymous with one another. However let us explain what distinguishes Arbikie from the rest with our quick fire questions.

Q. What are the Ingredients?
Malted Barley from grain grown on the Estate and malted less than 10 miles away. Water from the distillery water source. Yeast

Q. How do you distil the spirit?
Twice batch distilled: 1) 4,000 litre pot still 2) 2,400 litre pot still

Q. What is the maturation period?
Minimum of three years, legally. But we will release when we think it is ready.

Q. What type of casks are using and where do they come from?
Majority ex-bourbon barrels but also use ex-Sherry Hogsheads, red wine and refill casks from USA, Spain, France and Portugal?.

Q. How important are the type of casks you have chosen?
Very important, as they give us the option to create a range of finishes.

Q. What will be the style of the whisky?
Our whisky is produced in the Highland region of Scotland. We will not chill filter to maintain the flavours & textures produced during fermentation. As the whisky matures over the years, we expect to deliver of maturation, an accessible Highland Coastal spirit with rich deep flavour & honeyed tones.

Q. When can I buy?
We are releasing a limited number of casks. Please contact one of the Stirling Brothers who can provide more details.
