2021 has been difficult for us all, both personally and in our businesses, but thankfully at Arbikie we’ve still managed to achieve a lot. We have put together some of our 2021 highlights below - we cannot wait to see what 2022 has in store!

'Craft Producer of the Year 2021'

Earlier this year, our team were delighted to have Highland Rye Whisky recognised by Whisky Magazine as 'Craft Producer of the Year 2021'. It was such an honour to have won against many other amazing distillers and distilleries, also producing some fantastic Scotch Whiskies!

'Scottish Family Business of the Year 2021'

Arbikie was awarded 'Scotland Family Business of the Year' at the 2021 Family Business of the Year Awards! It was a real honour to be nominated alongside so many special businesses, and to win is incredibly special.

'UK's First Climate Positive Bar'

We partnered with likeminded Avallen Spirits and pioneering 'farm to table' venue, Terrior Tapas, to create the UK's first 'Climate Positive Cocktail Bar' at Cocktails in the City, London.

Both Avallen and Nàdar are climate positive spirits, and together with the expertise of the team at Terrior Tapas, we created a series of climate positive cocktails, utilising waste and off cut ingredients.

 

COP 26

We had a fantastic two weeks at COP26 where we attended various events, such as the New York Times Hub and the James Hutton 43rd Macaulay Lecture. It was great having the opportunity to share our journey and the story of our climate positive Nàdar spirits.

MET GALA - 'Perfect Climate' Cocktail

This year's Met Gala was memorable in so many ways. It was a real honour to be part of such a special evening and having our climate positive Nàdar Gin featured in the signature cocktail, 'Perfect Climate'.

With sustainability at the forefront of the event and a plant-based menu, fitting the theme of 'In Amerca: A Lexicon of Fashion', this cocktail definitely made an impact!

 

Turks & Caicos Film Festival Sponsor

We had a great time supporting the Turks and Caicos Film Festival this year. We are proud to have been a selected sponsor, supplying our sustainable spirits for guests to enjoy at the most exclusive resorts, and we are grateful to have shared these incredible events with special guests such as Brian Cox & Nile Rodgers!

New Distribution - Expanding Globally

This year, we gained new distribution in China, Singapore and the UAE! This is a great achievement for us as we aim to make our field to bottle spirits available globally.
