Arbikie proudly supported the inaugural Ignite Ball in aid of the Prince’s Trust. As part of this year’s 40th anniversary celebrations of the Trust, Arbikie created three signature cocktails to set alight the evening’s fund raising.
It all began in 1976, when HRH The Prince of Wales had a bold idea. Having completed his duty in the Royal Navy, His Royal Highness became dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged young people in the UK. He founded the Trust to deliver on that commitment.
The event raised £355,000 for the Trust, which will make a huge difference to the work of The Prince’s Trust and give thousands of vulnerable young people the chance of a better future.
The event is to be hosted at the historic Hurlingham Club in London. Mags McPherson, Chair, Prince’s Trust Advisory Council, Scotland “We are thrilled Arbikie supported our special evening with a Scottish twist. As a Scottish family farm distillery, producing world class spirits, they are an inspiration to our young people – a beacon that education, hard work and entrepreneurship works”.
Owner David Stirling commented: “ It is a great honour and privilege for our family to be involved at such a special occasion. The Prince’s Trust has now supported 825,000 young people, which is a magnificent achievement. Just as Prince Charles commitment for sustainable agriculture serves as an exemplar for us, we hope that our ‘farm to bottle’ distillery also is an inspiration to young people that with dedication and hard work they too can go on to be successful business people”
