FINALE: THE A TEAM TAKEOVER

FINALE: THE A TEAM TAKEOVER

That is the 'A Team Takeover' series complete. As they say "all good things must come to an end" and we have reached ours, after eight weeks with our brand ambassadors. These weekly episodes have given us something to look forward to during lockdown and as restrictions ease we are going to have to find a new way to fill our Thursday nights.

Finishing off the series was Strawberry Vodka and Kirsty's Gin, you can catchup on all episodes in the series @theateamuk. In good spirit let's catch up on the final two episodes.

Stevie with Strawberry Vodka

Stevie made week six a bit sweeter for us with Strawberry Vodka, his favourite product of the Arbikie range. In true lockdown fashion, Stevie has borrowed his mums crockery for this episode, stirring together a drink for us and then taking us though how Strawberry Vodka is made at Arbikie Distillery.

For every litre created, 800 grams of strawberries are used. These are sourced from our cousin farm just across the road.This is what separates our Vodka from others, it is full of authentic flavour, pure and proudly chemical free. It is one to watch out for as its sweet, creamy character can disguise the fact it is 50% ABV, which goes down easy but it is not one to throw back.

Using homemade limoncello, which Stevie has kindly shared his recipe of on Instagram, the link bellow his photo will take you to his account, then adding prosecco and of course Arbikie Strawberry Vdoka.

35ml of Strawberry Vodka

20ml limoncello

stack glass with ice, stir down and top with prosecco.

David with Kirsty's Gin

Closing the series, we left one of the best until last. Our brand ambassador David, who is based in the North West of England, foraged his local environment just like at Arbikie where we use raw materials, local to us. For Kirsty's gin we carefully chose local botanicals to represent Arbikie’s distinct landscape and surroundings. The kelp, carline thistle and blaeberries embody the elements of ocean, rock and land that surround our Scottish east coast farmlands. David foraged some elderflower and used it to create a cordial, that he used his Kirsty's cocktail.

@arbikiedavid

35ml Kirsty's Gin

20ml elderflower cordial

topped with soda water and garnish with elderflower

David's cocktail is also in our Gin a Day May Giveaway which you can enter on Instagram @arbikiedistillery  and be in on the chance of winning the cocktail to try for yourself.

Big Thank you to everyone at home, who has tuned in each week and, to our brand ambassadors who have put so much effort into making their videos unique and interesting.
