International Gin & Tonic Day

International Gin & Tonic Day

Each year on 19th October, International Gin and Tonic Day is celebrated.

Whether you order a gin and tonic at a bar, or simply make one at home, the wonderful G&T deserves to be celebrated! At Arbikie, we have three products in our gin portfolio, Kirsty's Gin, AK's Gin and Nàdar Gin - each with its own unique flavour and story. For International G&T Day, we have put together some simple 1, 2, garnish Arbikie G&T recipes for you all to enjoy at home!

History of International G&T Day

remarkable woman who loved to have the occasional tipple of gin and tonic.

How to Celebrate

Join the virtual party hosted on the International Gin and Tonic Day Facebook page. Every year on
19th October, participants post images of themselves in memory of Mary Edith with a G&T, stating where in the world they are celebrating from - averaging 25 different countries every year.

If you're looking for a great way to celebrate this magnificent drink, serve up one of these delicious Arbikie G&T's using the recipes below. Take Kirsty's Gin, AK's Gin, or our climate positive Nädar Gin, add a premium tonic and garnish as recommended. After making your G&T, make sure to take a snap and post it to your social media platforms using the hashtag #InternationalGinAndTonicDay. If your G&T includes Arbikie Gin, make sure to tag us!
