REVIVING THE SCOTTISH TRADITION
ARBIKIE HIGHLAND ESTATE DISTILLERY
Arbikie Estate is a family-owned working farm perched on the east coast of Angus; here crop is king. We painstakingly plant, sow, tend and harvest the fields that make up Arbikie. Our whisky story starts with preparing the soil for sowing the grain. Arbikie was first discovered as a farm distillery in 1794 and it is this field to bottle tradition that we are reviving.

THE WORLD'S ONLY RYE SCOTCH WHISKY IN OVER 100 YEARS
Arbikie Highland Rye Whiskies are proudly 'Single Grain' - grain whisky produced at a single distillery. That distillery is Arbikie, where the team value tradition, authenticity and our enduring field to bottle principles. Unlike single malt, single grain whiskies do not need to be made using just malted barley. In fact, other cereals such as wheat, corn or rye can also be used. At Arbikie, we use rye, wheat and barley to make our Highland Rye Whiskies - the world's only Rye Scotch in over 100 years!

Records show that rye grain was used in Scotch whisky production until the late 19th century. It is this tradition we have revived.
Using rye grown on our own estate with casks of new American oak finished in Armagnac, we have created a characterful whisky that is bold, exciting and full of flavour.
