12 COCKTAILS OF CHRISTMAS

On the first Day of Christmas Arbikie made for me ...

From the 12th of December Arbikie will be running down the 'Twelve Days of Christmas' with 'Twelve Cocktails of Christmas'. Bars and bartenders from all across the world have joined in, using Arbikie Scottish Spirits to create a taste of Scotland in their home town this festive season. In addition to that, we are going to share with you the delicious recipes, so you too can make them at home this Christmas. 

12 Cocktails of Christmas means we have a cocktail to surprise you with everyday and bellow we have created a 'recipe guide' for all the drinks that are being released. All you have to do is match the picture to the recipe and you can make your very own at home. Here is what you need to know to impress your guests this Christmas:

Recipe Guide -

'CHRISTMAS ROSE'

2oz Kirsty's Gin (Makrut lime infused)
1oz Lemon juice
0.5oz Lavender Syrup
0.5oz Rose bud syrup
Dash of Cranberry

Method: Add ingredients to a shaker.
Shake and fine strain into chilled martini
glass, garnish with dried rose buds.

'PEAS & LO...TO'

50 ml amaretto infused Nadar Vodka
30 ml homemade cinnamon liquor
3 generous bar spoon of persimmon jam

Garnish: persimmon “two ways”

Technique: shake & double strain

'CANDY CANE BOGLE'

50ml Tattie Bogle Vodka
15ml Fernet Radicale Gagliardo
10ml Orgeat
15ml Lemon juice
Topped up with Soda

Garnished with Mint branch, Red Currant & Icing Sugar

'THREE WISE MEN'

3 Gin Cobblers served straight up using Nàdar Gin.
1 Blackberry - 1 Passonfruit - 1 Sherry/Port

Stir and these are Gin Cobblers straight up

'MULLED AKS'

500ml AK's Gin
200ml Sweet Vermouth
100ml Cloudy Apple
40ml honey
40ml ginger syrup
6 star anise
8 cloves
4 cinnamon sticks
10ml orange bitters

Makes 1L of cocktail
Serve hot

'THE GRINCH'

30ml AK’s Gin
30ml Campari clarified
20ml Grillo Wine reduction from oxidize wine
0.5g green tea matcha for infusion
3g silver pearl candy for sparkle effect

Garnished with Cotton Candy

'THE BIG APPLE'

1oz AK's Gin
1oz Calvados
1oz Fresh Lemon Juice
3/4oz Fresh Rosemary Syrup
2 dashes of Absinthe

Method:
Rinse a chilled coupe glass with the Absinthe.
Add rest of ingredients to shaker.
Shake then strain.
Garnish with Rosemary

'MOONLIT GANDERS'

60ml Kirsty's Gin
15ml Night time tea cordial
4 mint leaves
Dash of citric acid solution

Night time tea is a lavendar. limeflower and
oatflower tea
